BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – Erie County has launched a new war on cyber-bullying.

Monday, County Executive Mark Poloncarz signed a new law making it a crime to repeatedly harass people on-line. However, he expressed concern about how the law will be enforced and is urging county lawmakers to draft tougher legislation.

The bullying epidemic has gained more national attention, especially since the suicide of Williamsville teenager, Jamey Rodemeyer last year.
