Cyber-Bullying Must Be Outlawed

Do you know that Michigan does not have a law or regulation in place to protect children from cyber-bullying? One in four high school and middle school students are bullied every day by text, phone, Internet, Twitter, Facebook and so on. Yet, there is no regulation for this behavior.

Even the recent passing of Matt’s Safe School Law fails to cover cyber-bullying.

Current technology allows bullies to attack 24 hours a day before a huge audience. Bullying negatively affects the bully and the victim. Being bullied over time can begin to weigh on the target’s self-esteem and self-worth. Full Opinion Here.
